Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 August 2026
eplayer ("we", "us") operates eplayer.live and the ePlayer apps. This page describes what we collect when you create an account, sign in and use those apps, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
- Account information — the email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) you register with, and a display name if you set one.
- Session data — sign-in tokens stored as cookies or on-device secure storage, used only to keep you signed in and to authorise playback requests.
- Device and usage data — app version, device model and OS version, and IP address. IP address is used to route playback to the nearest server and to apply location-based entitlement; it is not linked to an advertising profile.
- Diagnostic data — crash reports and error logs, used to fix bugs. These do not include your password or payment details.
What we don't collect
We don't run ads or ad-tracking SDKs, and we don't sell or share your data with data brokers. Payment details, once billing exists, are handled directly by our payment processor — we never see or store card numbers.
How it's used
To create and secure your account, authorise playback, keep the service running, and respond to support requests. Nothing here is used to build an advertising profile.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account and its data from Account settings, or by emailing us at the address below. Deletion revokes every active session immediately; account data is removed from production systems within 30 days, except where we're required to keep records for fraud prevention or legal compliance.
Children
eplayer is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change and, for signed-in users, we'll say so in the app.
