Mandi Ka Badshah

Wrongly jailed for three years, Aman Verma returns to his Varanasi mohalla, where neighbours openly brand him a counterfeit medicine dealer. His family shop, Verma Medicos, is chained shut under a cracked red government seal. In the attached quarters, he bends to touch his ailing father Om Prakash's feet. Om Prakash recoils, reveals Aman's mother died of grief while he was in jail, and throws him out onto the street.
