Maryam, a Syrian schoolteacher who migrated to Lebanon and became a bread seller, is forced to deal with Omran, a Syrian-Lebanese troublemaking money-lender. Maryam's challenges increase with Omran falling in love with her, while she begins to like Aziz, the music teacher, who is still living the aftermath of the Lebanese War, so things turn upside down and wars of revenge threaten.
