The Goodman

After a disastrous money transport, in which three tons of product were delivered but the cash never returned, chaos erupts within the cartel. The boss is dead - murdered by someone from within. Cleo, the cartel's fixer, takes charge of the internal investigation. In the suffocating interrogation room, she confronts the department heads Hank, Jake, Paul, Max, and William. Each of them has alibis, excuses, and hidden ambitions, and piece by piece a web of betrayal, paranoia, and greed unfolds. But Cleo's agenda goes far beyond uncovering the culprit. Through flashbacks it is revealed that she has secretly been the true leader of the cartel for years - ever since, at the age of nineteen, she eliminated her father, the former boss. For her, "Order is control" was never just a phrase, but the very foundation of her rule. As mistrust and intrigue pit the men against each other, Cleo makes her ultimate decision: how the cartel's future will look - and who, if anyone, is worthy of inheriting her legacy. Because she has already planned her exit, with the money secured and her final move flawlessly executed. The Goodman is an intense thriller about power, loyalty, and the price of control - in a world where truth is just another weapon.
